Christian and Marie-Paule
Originally from Paris, in 2003 we bought Le Rendez-Vous des Chasseurs in Orches and made our home here, as well as our business. So when we say ‘welcome', we are also saying ‘make yourself at home'. Marie-Paule manages front of house and is always ready with a smile and a cheery greeting. Working tirelessly so that all runs smoothly, she anticipates your every need. Christian is your chef and the power house of the kitchen. He has a passion for food and a great wealth of knowledge of ingredients, flavours and textures. Prepare your tastebuds for a fabulous experience!

And it won't cost you the earth: priced at only €11.90 our weekday menu offers choices of starter, main course and dessert, as well as cheese, fresh bread and a carafe of local wine.

From the roundabout at La Place du Champ de Foire head northeast on Rue de la République/D757, signposted Orches and Richelieu. Continue for 7.5km. Approaching Orches, turn right at the crossroads, onto Le Bourg/D14. After 300m the restaurant is on your left, with car parking on your right.
Head east on the D725, signposted Lencloître and Châtellerault. After 10.5km continue onto the D725A for 1.5km. Take the third exit at the roundabout, onto Rue de la République/D757, signposted Orches and Richelieu. Continue for 7.5km. Approaching Orches, turn right at the crossroads, onto Le Bourg/D14. After 300m the restaurant is on your left, with car parking on your right.
Head west on the D725, signposted Scorbé-Clairvaux and Lencloître. After 16km take the first exit at the roundabout at La Place du Champ de Foire head northeast on Rue de la République/D757, signposted Orches and Richelieu. Continue for 7.5km. Approaching Orches, turn right at the crossroads, onto Le Bourg/D14. After 300m the restaurant is on your left, with car parking on your right.
Head south on the D749, signposted Châtellerault and Lencloître. After 3km turn right onto the D757, signposted Lencloître and Poitiers. Continue for 13.5km. Approaching Orches, turn left at the crossroads, onto Le Bourg/D14. After 300m the restaurant is on your left, with car parking on your right.

La Foire
A huge open market on the first Monday of every month, in Lencloítre. Lunch after ‘la foire' is a great event and Au Rendez-Vous des Chasseurs is a very popular venue for shoppers and stallholders alike. Be sure to book a table in advance to avoid disappointment.

By reservation only. All we ask is that you reserve a few days in advance and let us know of any preferences you may have for specific dishes

From a drinks reception to a full banquet, we are happy to cater to your wishes. Family celebrations, community groups, local clubs: reunions, wakes, birthdays, baptism and first communion parties, anniversaries, fun evenings for no particular reason!
